Edgars selling damage goods without exchanging it.
I bought 2 new suits a week ago before attending a business trip over the weekend. While on the trip I discovered one pair of pants was damaged (burned by an iron) and one blazor has wear and tear on it.
I took it back today in order to exchange it but was told they didn't sell it to me like that and refused to exchange it. I have the original slips stating its bought less than a week ago and the tag is still on on the pair of pants. Blazor's tags are of as I wore it on the plane.
You would expect a big franchise like Edgar's not to make the mistake of putting damaged goods on their shelf in the first place. How do you buy 5 items and 2 of them are damaged. And yes I should've checked but normally if you try one size on and want multiple pieces of the same item you just take the same size and go on... I am really not happy as suits are expensive and I can do absolutely nothing with it.
Manager I spoke with at Edgar's Fourways mall is phumulani.
Would really like for this to be justified.
