Edgars Refuses to Exchange Items that are too small

Edgars Greenstone Shopping Centre, A place I definitely will never support again! People have been complaining about their Bad service hypocrytical policies etc... Well today I can confirm this.

Edgars will let you buy a Shirt or Pants that has been fitted by multiple individuals who sweat, have potentials skin Diseases and Bacteria on them and will even exchange such items no problem so that you can happily buy this product and wear it with no arguments or complaints... However, try and return items that don't fit you after it's been washed and they refuse to return the stock.

Dimakatso Malepetse, the store manager explained the above is correct and that they would sell contaminated clothing that had been tried on by multiple people, but would never exchange clothing that is too small or too big if it's been washed.

Now I genuinely need this clothing as my work clothes are basically worn through after 4 years of wearing and budget has to be protected at all times in this Pandemic. We cannot use the changing rooms and I refuse to follow hygienic practices, but Edgars seem to be ok with Contamination risks.

The clothing for exchange is in Pristine condition. just washed and disinfected... Slips are still available, but Edgar's will not exchange, where I have in Fact in the past Exchanged washed Clothes, I just fortunately still had the Tags.

Edcon's CEO asked the customer base to support them through these tough times but can't provide decent Quality services to extremely frustrated customers or help customers with basic exchanges. Policies of exchange are highly hypocritical but Dimakatso Malepetse stands by her decision stating "No customer would want to buy washed Clothing, but it's ok to let customers buy clothing that has been tried on by multiple other customers."

I will never support EDCON again, and in my humble opinion, they deserve to close down for all the years of overcharging people on their accounts and not even providing a single decent service which customers can enjoy.

You guys obviously have not read the Post and have no intention to rectify the issue at hand.
I have clearly stated the criteria and the issues with your handling of the situation, plus the risk Edgars poses of further spreading Covid 19 through serious mishandling of their own policies. Please respond in a manner that addresses the actual post I made as this is basically a copy and paste from yourselves.

And to further Stipulate I have read your T's and C's and Nowhere does it specifically say not to wash before return. I brought the items back unharmed, and in mint condition, with the Proof of purchase. You sell clothing that has been tried on by numerous people who have sweat on their skin, potential diseases and skin disorders and yet you sell those Items or take back those Items regardless? I have returned Items in the past without Tags but with a Proof of Purchase, so why has Edgars become so strange all of the sudden? We cannot use fitting rooms at all so we won't know if the items fit before use and we do not have funds to waist. So simply coming to swap out clean, sanitary clothing for that which fits should be no issue whatsoever.
