Edgars (RCS) - Possible ******** Entity at work

So have not used my Edgars account in about a year now, the account actually over payed.

I then last month started getting SMS's that I must pay my arrears Edgars account, and then a call stating I must pay.

I Then call Edgars to hear how this is possible, and they tell me that it's my Edgars Club Fee has been going off since January.

I then say that I did not request to be a club member and that all charges pertaining to the Edgars Club must be reversed.

The person then says that they will listen to the recording and take the necessary action.

A week later now and still getting SMS's and a then another call. I enlighten them to the situation and get told that nothing further has transpired on my account.

I then call Edgars and they divert my call to the collections agents, I then tell the person what my problem is, and this person gives a number I must call so as to not be diverted, and then also enlightens me that if I cancel the Edgars Club, I must make sure to get a reference number, otherwise they will just continue to deduct money from my account.

I then talk to an agent at Edgars Club, that tells me the call was reviewed and there was no wrongdoing on their side, I then ask her to send me this recording as I definitely know how the call went and get told that she may not send me the recording, but can play it back to me, when I then ask her to play it back to me, there is a long moment of silence and then she says she does not have it , and has to request it, she then asks me when will be an opportune time to call me back, I say as soon as she gets it , that will just over 40 hours ago, when I try to get hold of them in the morning.

So my advice, if you have an active running Edgars account please check that you are not paying for Edgars Club if you do not belong to it !

Maybe we should start a Class Action Lawsuit to claim back all monies that has been *******ly collected by these ********ly inclined institution.
