Edgars online - Poor Service

Extremely poor service from Edgars, I purchased online on the 27th of April all my items were available online , I successfully made a payment of all my items and patiently waited for delivery of my clothes ,which were only delivered on the 5th of June. To my surprise only a quarter of my clothes were delivered the rest of my clothes I'm told they are out of stock. My question is when did they discover they are out of stock during my online purchase or after they accepted my payment ? i visited the Edgar's store in Menlyn today and all the clothes I need are available in store, but I can't get them as according to the Edgar's customer Care I need to wait a further 7 to 14 working for my money to be credited back into my account. I will never recommend Edgar's online shopping to anyone .
