Good Day

I wish to raise my dissatisfaction with the manner in which Edgards has treated me.

This item was purchased 24 November 2016 –

I had then FORGOTTEN that the order was placed.

I have been getting repeated SMS’s from an unknown source stating the following. HI Deidre Foster, Your ORDER (OR NO>>>>>>) is ready for collection.

Sometimes at 02:00 in the morning, other times during the day. I tried to block the message, only to receive the same message from another unknown number. I even googled the message, hoping that it would give me some idea as to where the messages were coming from, thinking it was SPAM.

I had no clue from where the SMS’s were coming from, the invoice was stored away, and there was no way of me knowing where the SMS’s were coming from.

I am a customer of Edgars for years and I have never EVER been treated in such a manner, from ANY STORE anywhere, in my life.

I take gross exception to this, as I searched for months, by responding to the SMS’s, checking post office, (thinking it was my overseas online purchases) I went to the bank, and checked all my online accounts. Only to discover that yesterday, after two years, on 29 November, 2018, you decided to notify me in writing.

This is by far the most PATHETIC show of apathy towards a client, that I have ever received, and I refuse to let this go.

I am going to lodge this complaint with Hello Peter, I am lodging it was ever possible organisation, including the Consumer Protector because after all, Edgars decided to take me for a total fool for the last two years.

After standing in a queue for 30 minutes yesterday, guess what? The parcel is missing… and rightly so. It’s been two years! What exactly did you think would happen. I’m yet to hear from the store, because I left my contact details there as I could no longer wait for her to look.
