Edgars/ Jet Account- ****? CIRCUS?

<p>So, I am still struggling with this account and I am starting to think it is a ****. Nobody at the collection place knows what is going on. I paid my installment on the 28th of November and since then I have received text messages and phone calls to say I have not yet paid, accompanied by a threat for legal steps to be taken and to be reported to all three credit bureaus. </p> <p> </p> <p>In contrast to Jet stores collection circus, I have another monthly payment I make of R500 to a particular company via EFT. Before the end of the month, I get an sms from them saying "Thank you for making your payment of R500 on time. Your TPN credit score has been positively updated". End of story until the following month.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have called Jet/ Edagrs collection people back several times to clarify this issue and one person eventually said, yes we se your payment. Low and behold, 2 days later, I received another sms to say I have not paid with its connected threats... </p> <p> </p> <p>I have emailed my proof of payment to a ********** an email address I was given over the phone, and I added in the email that I refuse to make another payment to them until they figure out what in the world is going on in their office. It's an absolute circus and if, after 2 weeks of making a payment, nobody knows it's there, then what differnce in the world does it make whether I pay or not?</p> <p> </p> <p>Until somebody explains what is going on, I will not be making another payment. I don't want an apology, I want an explanation and assurance. I have a siginficant amount left to pay, and I am not paying another cent until someone gives me assurance that it will be recorded. From where I stand it seems as if I could pay this whole amount and still be reported to the credit bureaus. I am not averse to paying, but what is the point if i will still be black listed???</p>
