Edgars itc update

I had an account with edgars due to circumstances i could not pay my payments so after being able i paid my account in full but the first amount that i was told to pay was 6800 odd good so i paid it in full so i requested my paid up letter i was then told that i can not get a paid up letter due to the fact that i am still 700 in arrears so i went back to the store and paid it again requested a letter and then i was told again that i am 80 in arrears so i paid that again with a little extra to make sure it doesn't happen again so then i was provided with a paid up letter this was about 2months ago and to my surprise i found out today that itc says i still owe edgars an amount 6880 so hence that i can not any credit aplication no where i know that the record will stay on itc for a few years but how do i get them to just update itc so that it says its paid up. Please help
