Edgars imcomponent

I have mistakenly clicked on the star. I am so tired of Edgars, or be it their debt collectors, harrasingy me for payment of an account which they told me had been closed about 4 years ago. My Edgars card had been ****** and I went into Edgars to report it ******. The lady that I dealt with was extremely rude and told me I had no account as it had been closed. This could have been due to the fact that i had been declared insolvent. I now have a problem whereby I am sure their debt collectors are calling and harassing me demanding lI pay an amount in the region of about R200 or they would place negative reviews on my credit record. I do not have a problem with paying my problem is why should I pay for something I am not liable for and to crown it all they ,I assume the debt collectors have now put negative data on my credit report. After 3 years the debt becomes prescribed. I have had no statements from them for over 3.years. what don't they understand. How many other hundreds if not thousands of people are being harassed by them in this way and pay just to keep them quite. I will never ever again buy from the Edgars chain stores again cash or otherwise DISGUSTING SERVICE
