Edgars funeral policy rip-off !!!

I had a funeral policy with Edgars for many years. Now when I receive a phone call from them about my account I found out that no deductions are being made from my account. When I enquire about it, I get told that as I have not used my account in some time to purchase clothing etc, the policy has lapsed. They were willing to take my money initially but now the funeral policy has lapsed. This without any notification to me. Am important thing like this in one's life???
