Edgars- ********** Top up activation

My mom bought a cell phone on the 20/04/2016 from user :*** , the consultant then **********ly activated a sim card which was going to Top up my Mom with airtime every month however the sim card was not given to my Mom , the consultant held the sim card ,last year when my Mom went to Edgars to query the statement she was then told by Vusi from Richards Bay that there is aTop up contract that she didnot cancel ,does she want it cancelled my Mom did not know about it so the guys in Edgards cancelled it and advised my Mom that since it was activated at Jet stores in Richards Bay he must go and query with them.

She was pulled from pillar to post until i intervened on the 17/01/2020 the consultant from Edgars by the name of Vusi mentioned on the phone to a lady he was speaking to whom he referred to as Mamkhulu " the guy that activated the sim card at Jet was fired for **********ly activating sim cards and not dispatching them to customers" we sent numerous emails to the customer service department , no assistance has been given to us.The only feedback that was given to my mom was that she signed for the sim card therefore no refund will be given to her , she was given paper s to sign no explaination was given to my mother that she is signing for a Top up contract , she was signing that she accepts the T &C 's for purchasing a cell phone not the airtime.

Edgards employs a bunch of ****** and after that defends them at an expense of its customers , your consultants do not have a sense of urgency how can 1 pay for a sim card for 4 years ? if she was aware she was going to use the sim card , we request that you provide us with the usage report from you service provider and any proof that my mother used the sim card , the **** you are saying that she signed for it is nonsense. I require you to check the IMEI number the sim caRd was used on and the usage report.YOU NEED TO REFUND MY MOTHER HER MONEY !!!!
