Edgars fees are a *******.

I have been a loyal customer of Edgars for years. I also paid my account on time and didn't have any issues. I enjoyed shopping at Edgars until RCS took over the financial part of it. I was never notified in writing, SMS or calls to say that my 6 months interest free account has now become 12 months with interest, that I have to pay life insurance which I did not take out before and some other costs. Service fees of R22 were only charged if a purchase was made. It has now increased to R30.. The call centre tells me that as long as there are other services reflecting on my statement even if I don't purchase anything I have to pay R30!! Services like a compulsory insurance and who knows what else, I will still be charged R30. Currently I have a zero purchase balance but charged interest, insurance, debit something and R30, that's absolutely disgusting and it's *******. I will now close my account and will tell everybody about how Edgars is ripping us customers off without us even knowing. Good riddance Edgars, you don't deserve us as your customers.
