Edgars/Edcon just dont want me to have an account

Edgars advertise that you can apply for a 6 month interest free account yet after you go through the application waste all that time and effort of answering the questions they say its a 12month account and not interest free. What is the point of that then when you phone to cancel they ask what are the reasons then they tell you No One really qualifies for the 6 month interest free account. That is such a waste of every ones time. The 6 months interest free is a selling point and a main reason we open account then to be told after 1 hour and 30 minutes that its not interest free what a waste. Clearly edcon just don't want me to have an account. I closed my jet account as i wanted an interest free account and now I'm sitting with no account. Its seems i should just forget about Edcon and go to another brand where i can get what i want.
