Edgars doesn't want me to pay my account.

I have been asking... no.. begging edgars to provide me statements for my account on a monthly basis.

I have contacted the call center, I have gone into a branch and I have sent emails to their accounts department.

The call center and branches keep assuring me that I "will get my statement at the end of the month". I have been an edgars account holder for almost 2 years now, and I have to date only received 1 (ONE) statement.

I sent the aco****s department an email explaining that I cannot pay my account if I do not know what the outstanding balance on the account was.

I received the following response from Ntando Nyawo:

"In response to your email received, your statement has been requested and will be sent to you shortly. Please note that either you received your statement or not, if you have a balance on your account it your responsibility to pay your instalment.

Should you have any further enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us via the below mentioned contact details."

Thank you Ntando for this totally UNHELPFUL email. So I rep**** to Ntando saying:

"Hi Ntando,

I think you are missing the issue, I cannot pay my account if I do not know what the outstanding balance of my account is.
I have requested on numerous occasions that edgards send me statements on a monthly basis, that way I can keep track of my account and what payments are due on my account.

While I accept that the onus falls upon me to pay the account, I cannot pay the account if I do not know what my current outstanding balance is, therefor I will make no payments unless I know what my balance for the current month is."

Then I receive a copy and paste answer from Nonhlanhla Kunene, which read:

"In response to your email received, your statement has been requested and will be sent to you shortly. Please note that either you received your statement or not, if you have a balance on your account it your responsibility to pay your instalment.

Should you have any further enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us via the below mentioned contact details."

Thank you very much Nonhlanhla for your copy and paste answer.

I want someone from Edgars to rectify this issue, all I want is a statement on a monthly basis that will tell me what I owe Edgars and what my payment due is. If this is something that Edgars cannot supply then HOW does Edgars expect me to make timous payments on my account?
