Edgars - Dispute on account

I phoned Edgars around the 25th or 26th June 2019 to query about my account balance and was surprised at the total amount. I tried lodging a dispute online and was told that I needed to go to an Edgars store with my ID and an affidavit. I did block my account to prevent further misuse. I took a day off from work as I was not sure how long the whole process would be. I went to the store and filled a dispute form which a section for a declaration for oath. I filled the form explaining my query and put the two amounts which needed to be disputed. I did ask for a copy of the form filled up and was told I would get a reference in a few days time. I have not received any feedback from the store. I had to phone the store to query my dispute and they informed me that no dispute was logged. My credit score gets affected, my Edgars account now sits in arrears making me seem as if I am "bad payer". I have done what I needed to do. If Edgars states that there is no dispute, please check camera footage for the Edgars store in Pavilion on 27/06/2019 which shows me filling the form in the Accounts/Queries department. I am beginning to think can I trust the Edcon Group as I feel insecure at this moment knowing my details were possibly leaked hence me lodging the dispute and now to find my documents that i filled are not on the system.
