Edgars Denlyn: Worst of the worst

<p>I would like to inform Edgars of the pathetic service rendered at the Denlyn branch.<br />Yesterday I went to the store for 2 things:<br />1. To get a new Edgars account card as my card got lost a few weeks ago<br />2. Hand in my police report for a lost cell phone which I bought at Edgars and have insurance</p> <p>To my disbelief...there was absolutely NO ONE AT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Upon searching the store high and low for a employee I finally managed to get a staff member who told me to go to the cashiers as Customer Service is CLOSED, and I have to come back tomorrow (meaning today) as only then they can issue me with a card...</p> <p>With my frustrations boiling..I headed to the cellphones desk to hand in my report and follow the procedures..which I was assisted by Koketso..who first said she cannot help me without a card, of which I explained if someone at Edgars could of been of assistance, as that's one of the reasons I'm here, I would of gotten a card. I mentioned to her that I actually have been to Edgards Denlyn 2weeks ago to get a new card of which I waited for over 20 min at Customer service, and I couldn't wait any longer......how crazy is this.</p> <p>I explained to her, I really don't care, but I'm not leaving this store until someone can assist me, as I'm so sick of Denlyn Edgars staff wasting our time, by just not delivering on service.</p> <p>Koketso took my forms and said she will send to Finrite and call me today..as because I don't have a card can pose a problem..of which I understand but I was there to rectify it and NO ONE COULD HELP!!! I'm still awaiting the call I suppose.</p> <p>Your Denlyn store has nothing on Menlyn or Kollonade that's for sure...I don't know why Edcon can neglect customer service, is it because this Edgars is not situated in the suburbs so we should just accept such poor service and unhelpful staff..</p> <p>What I hate most about your staff in Denlyn is when you ask them something and they call each other and speak in African language.. whilst you stand there looking like a statue...It drives me crazy!!!</p> <p>"We love hearing from you! Drop by and speak to our friendly store staff, give us a call or send us a mail."</p> <p>This is what you have on your website, please rephrase as your staff at Denlyn are not freindly at all, as though they are doing us the customer a favour..please Edgards dont lie as what you say and what is received at Denlyn Edgars is anything except this!!</p> <p>Very dissatisfied long term customer who is thinking of closing this account of which I have had for years!</p>
