Edgar's demanding monies even though the account is settled and closed

I settled my account in September 2020 and even received a closure letter from Edgars but now I have a statement and Edgar's debt collectors calling me demanding that I make anotjer payment. I have called RCS and they have told me that Edgar's have not closed my account as per my request but merely "closed" it to prevent me from spending the credit on it. I'm not sure how many languages I need to ask for ACCOUNT CLOSURE in to get my ALREADY SETTLED EDGAR'S ACCOUNT CLOSED?!
