Edgars Club without consent

I am writing to express my concerns about a recent incident I experienced at one of your stores.

I visited Your Cape Gate store last month (June) and whilst i was browsing, a guy by the name of Juice approached me, he was charming me and smooth talking me, telling me that he wants to suprise me with something nice, he then insisted that I accompany him to the cashier's, to which I then agreed after I told him I'm not interested if his selling me anything, he then asked me my Edgars account card and swiped it and then he was checking my account, telling me about the Edgars club, going on and on and on after I specifically told him that I'm not interested.

I recently resigned from my job so therefore I'm not interested in making extra debt, and with saying that I also told him that I'm settling my account and closing it, because of the fact that I will be unemployed and unable to maintain the account, to which he still went on about the Edgars club and the benefits, I told him I had the club when I opened the account, but cancelled it a few months later because none of your stores had any club cards, so why was I paying for a service that I wasn't able to utilize, so therefore I cancelled, and because of that experience I do not take up any extra services nor am I interested in anything other than my account with Edgars.
Juice then responded stating that I still have the club on my account because he sees it his side on the screen, so I told him it can't be because it doesn't appear on my statement (which I also showed him) he then went on saying he will cancel the club his side, I then agreed and as he was swiping my card and taking me through the process, he then asked me to sign, and that's when I sort of got suspicious, because the sign board states VIP club etc etc and the amount, and that didn't make sense, I then said no it's fine and went about my way.

On the 20 July, I decided to go to Edgars and upon visiting your store, I then went to the cashier's to settle my account and close it and to my dismay they are telling me that I have registered for Edgars club on the 26/06/2017, i am so furious, now my question is, how dare he register me for Club without my consent? How dare he make me pay for something I don't want? how many other people is being fooled by this guy, did he really think I would be fooled by him telling me that I have Edgar's club only for him to register me for the club and think I wouldn't notice? he is damaging your brand and I will not leave it here, I am so disappointed in Edgars and the route they take to get clients to sign up for extra services.

I emailed management and still no response.
