Edgars - Closing an account is a nightmare

Over the years was fine until I decided to close my account. I paid it off and requested my account be closed. My login stopped working, but I continue to get billed (Insurance or rewards or whatever). I paid off my account twice and requested it to be closed each time and multiple times after that. Yet still, each month my statement grows and now I get threatened to pay off my account, or else my credit rating will be negatively affected. This is so poor, and distasteful. I wonder how many people are done in by large companies like this giving individuals bad ratings for their own incompetence!
