Edgars clearly doesn't want me to join their club

I have an Edgars account and app**** online twice to join the Edgars Club. Each time I received an e-mail to say that someone would contact me within 48 hours but no contact was made. If there is a customer willing to give you money each month, one would expect that you would make some effort to get in touch. <br> Furthermore, I actually app**** for a 6 month interest free account, but when I looked at my statement I saw I have a 12 month account. I enquired about this and the consultant simply informed me that it cannot be changed, even though it is not what I app**** for. Please start taking better care of your customers.

With regards to your account plan, in terms of the amendments to the National Credit Act (NCA), an affordability assessment is key in ensuring the credit management process is aligned with standard risk principles and must evaluate the customers' ability to repay the credit extended, by utilizing accurate and up to date information. Edcon, effective from the 29th September 2014, no longer converts 12 month repayment plans to 6 month repayment plan, as it has a direct impact on the customers' affordability. An affordability assessment is conducted on all applications, to which in this instance, upon opening your account you were afforded with a 12 month repayment plan
