Edgars belittling service!

I am absolutely disgusted and applaud with the disgraceful and pathetic service I've received from Edgar's Sandton City. I browsed around the store on 06/08/2020, i found a Celvin Klein sweater which was on sale so I decided to purchase it, at the till point the sweater was scanning at a higher price, the cashier tried to make sense of it because the original price was R2000 sale was scanning for R1200 but had a reduced sticker for R499. The cashier then spoke to the other cashiers that were standing around talking and laughing, they then called another cashier (I'm assuming the head cashier), she came with such a pathetic and belittling attitude, she basically mocked me and made me feel as if i were stupid, she laughed in my face to say that its not R499 but R4990.00 which is confusing how can the sale price be higher than the original - she then waved the sicker in my face laughing at me saying if i wanna pay R4990.00 for the sweater then thats my problem, she also added that the reduced price should have been on some jacket, I checked and there was not a single jacket for that price in the store. I will never shop at Edgars again - her staff made an error, as a customer i deserved the right to buy the sweater at the price i saw, she even proceeded to laugh at me with the other cashiers! i am taking this belittling and disgraceful service to consumer watch! perhaps if Edgars had better staff the store would do better, cause after my experience I will never shop at an Edgars store again!
