Edgars and VVM

I was ****med by Edgars and my account was never paid up, no matter how much I paid. Also I insured the cell phones I bought there, but when the phone(s) was lost and or damaged, I could never claim. The account balance just kept increasing even though I stopped buying. When I asked for a print out I learned that I have insurances (even life & funeral cover) that I never took and had no documentation of. I was told the matter will be investigated. This was about 2016, five years ago. Nothing has ever happened since. VVM was one of the debt collectors that followed me, then in 2020 VVM sent me a message to pay R970,77, a third of the amount owed, and the debt will be settled. I paid the R970 and R10 at Edgars, I sent proof to VVM on their WhatsApp platform @ +***, nothing happened until today, the amount remained the same and continues to increase. VVM ****med me of all that amount. They say I am still owing Edgars. According to law, a debt cannot stand beyond a certain number of years. Edgars as VVM are ******** me of money and it’s so pathetic, truly the sordid *******ion ever! Because I’m tired of this, I decided to pay R100 a month on this dead account. Edgars and VVM have never acknowledged those payments. They are just eating my money #sickening*******
