edgars and edgars active are 2 different stores

Edgars had a buy one pair of sneakers and get another for free. I had chosen an incorrect size and went to return it at edgars active as edgars did not have stock only to find out that they are different stores with different stock codes. So i phoned the customer service and the lady basically told me there is nothing i can do. So now i am stuck with a pair of shoes that i paid for and i cant use. I sent an email to the service centre and still no reply. I am very disappointed
