Edgars accounts are a ****!

Allow to me to warn you against taking out a credit account with this store. If you want to suffer a lifetime of consequences of hidden information when opening their account, try them. I urge you to rather save your money and go to that store with full cash to purchase their goods. Ladies and gentleman, my mother and my uncle and two extended family memebers got ****med by this store! Let me highlight the recent incident.

My uncle took out an account to pay off his pants that costed R399. At intial they requested once off R150 to open the account, he agreed with no problem. The lady spoke about insurance and he denied the application of such. They agreed that he shall pay R100 every month since he earns sassa (mind you the policy of edgars does not allow them to open accounts for sassa people thus the lady opened a disability account and my uncle is not disabled, never been disabled shem!) As he pays his R100 each month, the debt increases not decreases when we went to the store, the insurance policy was opened under his name because he is disabled, imagine! That time he is physically fit no disability. They said he agreed to the policy and because he is of old age he forgot, imagine the disrespect, where is the customer is always right. Mind you no proof that he agreed or disagreed as it was something articulated. The policy was refused to be cancelled and the debt is still accumulating and we took all measures to talk to them but all they are after is money! If we had enough income, we would pay off that increasing debt and close the account but its crazy how much Edgars is broke more than us. We went to the police station, they said its ***** and the lady at edgars was angry that we opened such an affidavit...guys a lot can be said but trust me, dont suffer like us, stay away from edgars accounts.

It used to be our favourate store because of its premuim status but guys, standards do drop and they aim not to get better.

Never shall you ever attempt to open an account with edgars, right guys??
