Edgars account opened without my knowledge

<p>I started receiving call from a company called VVM(debt collectors for edcon).I received 8 calls a day but they also called previous employers,my kids,wife etc.I heard from VVM that I owe R7500 on my edgars account.I did explain to them that I don't have an edgars account.I eventualy phoned Edgars and apparently some ******** opened an account on my name in August 2016.I went to the police and got an affidavit and filled in account dispute forms on 14 May 2017 at Edgars in Carnival Mall.I did receive a call from the Edgars ***** Department on 18/05/2017 to inform me that they are looking into the matter.I still received calls from VVM and I explained to them that edgars is busy with this mess they got me into.They stopped phoning .On 8 June 2017 VVM started phoning again.They're phoning my wife at work,my young children at home and even my mother in law who's in a wheelchair.I phoned edgars ***** line today(10/06/2017) but no answer.I just don't know how to get rid of these people.I still want some explanation and apology from edgars.They must also tell me why they opened an account and how are they going to prevent their staff from opening ********** accounts.</p> <p>Please help</p>
