Edgar's account hanging

Paid my account 2019 up to date its not closed yet I paid this account in middelburg 2019. I demand edgars to please clear my name and a report from my clear scores. Everytime I try to get clarity they tell me about the change from edcon to tfg that affected most of the things. Can I not be dragged to their issues not with my credit record. Since everytime i call them im told they don't have any records on my name, now can they issue me with a paid up letter and close this account with a balance in my name.
