EDGARS ACCOUNT CANCELLATION!!!

So shocked at the level of service I have received from this pathetic retails store named Edgars.

27th December 2021 I paid off my account and I was told I need to wait 48hours before my account can actually be cancelled of which I did (on the 29th of December), I then went to West gate mall to close of my account and they told me I would recieve a cancellation confirm letter on email or as an sms. I then received a statement stating that I owe R83,00 on the account.

I called in again asking how this was possible if I requested for a cancellation at the store like they stated?

To top it all off I have been receiving dumb explanations on why this is and none of these agents can assist me? The last agent I spoke to, stated that when I went to cancel my account the systems were offline so in actual fact my account was never cancelled, she went on to laugh at me after I explained my frustrations.

I am livid more disgusted to say the least.
