Edgars

I paid up my account in 2020 with a balance of 0.00 i was assured that my account is now closed as I asked the lady to call and close my account instore... months later I received statements from Edgar's saying I owe over 500 rand and that I will be handed over to lawyers I emailed countless times and just get an automated response finally I get a email stating that I am handed over to mnd I called the head office of Edgars only to have my haves dropped or have agents having their own conversations while my call is running...I eventually got through and was told that I still had benefits running on my account that was the build up...now firstly I emailed them my proof of payments showing my 0.00 balance after I paid it up and had it closed... I am extremely upset as this now affected my credit score in the worst way ever and it's affecting my lifestyle and how I go about living credit wise.. Edgars I refuse to pay this money and I want my name cleared this is really unfair...help needed please
