Edgars

East Rand Mall staff in general are rude. I feel the Edgars group uses Black Friday deals to "*****" from clients. Buy 1 get the cheapest free applies to whatever you buy instore (according to Edgars). So I bought 4 pairs of shoes at R1000 each (all off the same shelf) and 4 boxes underwear at R150. According to me (and all the clients behind me) you will pay for 2 each (ie 2 pairs shoes and 2 underwear) and get the other 2 free. No you pay for ALL the shoes and get the underwear free as they are the cheapest. Does not even make sense. Totally different items and departments. If you want to you can pay for the underwear then get back in a 45 minute plus queue to pay for the shoes. At least 5 other clients in the queue with me complained. Staff just said that how Edgars works.
