Edgards and Edcon group poor service

My mom had a stroke in 2018 and was disabled, Policy with Edgards or Edcon group was for disability and death. When we tried to do a claim it was rejected and then suddenly the policy was changed to accidental disability. We then left that and now in October 2020 when we wanted to claim from the death benefit suddenly is there no policy but Edgards have been deducting monies for the policy every month. Any advise what we must do and who we need to contact.
