EDCON LIES

I am at this point beyond discussed with lies and bad services for Edgars Clothing store.

I recently in November 2017 opened up my first clothing account with edgars. When opening the acc I asked the lady if I will qualify for the 6 month interest free acc and she said yes. After much joy and receiving my acc the same day with good credit I decided to do some shopping. At the teller, when purchasing the items the lady asked me if I would like to take this out on 6th months or 12. I asked for the 6 months interest free option as paying something off with interest can affect my budget. As far as I was concerned everything went smoothly.

A few days ago I decided to have a deeper look into my statement as i have been paying more than my due amount so that i am able to pay my acc off quicker and i realized but my total amount due is still a bit high. I looked at my statement and realized I was being charged interest. At this point I was furious as to my knowledge I'm on a "INTERESTS FREE PAYMENT OPTION" I went to the store to find out what is going on. I was then told I have a 12 months interest acc and there is nothing they can do to change it. THIS IS *****!!! As that is not what I agreed to or signed up for and as far as I was told I have a 6month interest free acc. I am beyond ****ed off.

I then contact the customer care number and the lady told me she won't be able to tell me what my acc qualified for, I need to contact the New Acc Department, so I did. Only to be told by a ARROGANT woman that she too can't help me. So my question is "THEN WHO THE HE'LL CAN"!!!!!!

This I *****, lies and disgusting service!!!

I have decided that enough is enough and will be contacting the OMBUDSMEN to help me with this as EDCON Cant/Wont assist me!!!

I now have to pay an additional amount that I NEVER AGREED TOO!!!

NO WONDER I WAS WARNED ABOUT OPENING AN ACC WITH EDCON a mistake I won't easily make again!!!
