Edcon incompetence

I had account with Jet sobi decided to close the account. On the 19th of march I transferred r4000 into the account because that was what I owed them.I decided to wait a fee days so the funds can reflect in the account before I can go.to the store to call head office so they can actually close my account. So I went to the Randfontein branch to close it. I spoke to one of the agents and she asked me if im sure I want b to close the account and.I told her, yes. I just took a credit card and would rather usepay and pay that then both of them. I then.asked her if she is sure.that I do not owe them anything as I dont want to be called or emailed for funds I owe and she told me, no I dont owe them anything and.my account has been closed. The following month I receive a statement that I owe then R23 and I was like ok maybe its a mistake they know I closed the account. Come May, I received another statement that I now owe them R45. I called their offices three times cause.they dropped my call three timesn so I call back and spoke.to one of the agents who transferred me to.their retention offices on 14/05/2019 and.told me that the.fees are services fees but I remember telling them that im closing my account. They said they.will look into it and I must call after 48hrs. Its 21/05/2019 and my balance still says I owe r45. I am really.disappointed in this company and extremely angry as I as a customer should follow up on a mistake that they made and can destroy my bureau profile because of a error on their side.
