Don't get an Edgars account, they authorize third parties to commit ***** on clients accounts

This problem spans over months. After seeing unauthorized airtime and data charges on my statements, I phoned Edgars accounts department to report ***** as I did not authorize any such charges as this would be a useless exercise because I have a contract phone. Just to be told that they cannot do anything because Edgars gives third party companies access to their clients accounts and I should phone RMCS myself, which proved to be frustrating after numerous phone calls and reference numbers I eventually got the service cancelled but haven't been refunded the charges as they promised. I then resorted to email Edgars accounts department Johannesburg devision, as I thought it is an accounts problem. After months and a lot of emails back and forth, having paid what I owed and refusing to pay the RMCS charges. I received an email from Edgars about the outstanding amount due threatening me with bad credit reference, I phoned the collections department to explain the whole situation to be told that I will be phoned back, which hasn't happened as yet. I blatantly refuse to pay the unauthorized RMCS charges which has left a terribly bad taste in my mouth, spoiling a good relationship I had with Edgars
