“Disturbing Experience and Complete Lack of Customer Care”

I had a very upsetting experience at Edgars Menlyn. The customer service was extremely poor, and I left feeling deeply distressed and uncomfortable. I went into an area clearly marked “Fitting Room” to try on clothes. While I was inside and undressed, I stepped out briefly to show my friend and then went back in. While I was still undressed, a male staff member started shouting at me to come out, even though I repeatedly told him that I was not dressed. What made the situation worse was that he continued shouting and even called another female staff member, who also insisted that I come out immediately, saying that the area was not a fitting room. This was very confusing because there was a large visible sign outside clearly indicating that it was a fitting room, with no notice suggesting otherwise.The way the staff handled the situation was completely inappropriate. There was no clear communication, no respect for my privacy, and no understanding of how uncomfortable and vulnerable that situation was for me as a customer. Being pressured to come out while undressed is unacceptable and made me feel violated.I ended up leaving the store immediately because I was so uncomfortable. This experience was disappointing and honestly unacceptable. I hope the store takes this seriously and improves both their signage and the way staff communicate with customers.
