Dissappointed Customer
I bought cell phone at Edgars which I was told it has warranty of 2yrs, my cell phone just got blank whilst it was on top of my work desk and I charged it. It refused to charge the screen went blank. I was then told to either leave it at Edgars store in Midrand or take it to Vodaworld as it would be faster to get it back if I personally took it there which I did. To my surprise I am now told to pay R1700.00 for it to be fixed reason being it might not be technical problem as advice by different consultant at Edgars Midrand. My question is how does a cell phone screen go off then I am told it might not be technical problem. Surely it should be broken if it fell as they suggest it might have fallen.

As unhappy customer I requested contact numbers for their Ombudsman, surprisily no one knows them. I have been Edgar's customer for more than 15 years now and I but after this I want nothing to do with them. So disappointed

M Mnyakeni
