Dispute issue, taking time to be closed
<p>Edgars, the ********** department, has been dragging it's feet in sorting my ********** account and closing it out.</p> <p>I was recently a victim of *****, where a guy in port Elizabeth opened an account, with my Details. </p> <p>I have since closed off 2 accounts which this guy opened, and Edgars was the third one. I went to Edgars in Claremont and brought all the required documents to close off the false opened account. </p> <p>It's been 4 weeks now and I'm still waiting for a response back from them. I never thought closing an account would be so difficult. Now it's holding me up from conducting various things, can't take out a Home Loan, can't Buy a Car. It's frustrating now. </p> <p>I need help to escalate this issue fast.</p> <p> </p>

Thanks for the response back, I'm glad to say that the account is on longer under my name.(Thanks for this)
However now the issue lies with the Dispute departmetn, The Amount still shows on Credit Bereau , and I need to have proof from, Edcon disputes department, who never pick up the phones, I have tried all sorts of numbers, which was given to me by ***** department. e.g. ********** /***
I'm really don't know how this department operates. I just need a document that will show that Edgars/EDCON has dealt with this issue and has now resloved it.
There was even a lady who took down my Details, asked for my email address, cellphone numbes, and promised to send me this ASAP. But Nothing arrived after Sppelling my Email out to Her.
This is really getting too much now.
Could you please help me out, My LIFE IS ON HOLD BECAUSE OF THIS.
