Disgusting Service - Day Light *******

I have always had my cell phone insured via Edgars. In October 2015 my phone stopped working and after paying for years i decided to send the phone in for repairs and not just get a new phone. I was told it takes 6-8 weeks and I will be given a call with feedback whether the phone can be fixed or not and what the cost would be. To date I have never received that call. I went to the store in January 2016 and was told no feedback yet. I had gone in February, April, June, July, September with the same response. I had then gone to the store end November 2016 and called and was told that the phone could not be repaired and response was given to the store in January 2016 stating the phone cannot be fixed and a voucher is given to the value of R2499.99 to purchase a new phone. In December 2016 i had gone to the store (Edgars Lenasia Trade Route) to purchase a phone which firstly there was no stock and then manager will go through to Southgate Mall to collect. The manager was not helpful and was more interested in fixing mannequin shirts. Refused to assist and walks away leaving a customer waiting and sends other staff to sort this out. At this point i was extremely upset at the fact that diligently monthly the insurance is been paid and no resolution??? Calling the call centre is another pointless effort as you can never get a proper response. Holding for more than 30 minutes to get told we still checking. I have contacted Edcon almost 2 weeks ago and this is still not sorted out. Spokt to Mpho, Mpumi, Christina, Mbali and Cindiswa and they still dont understand the query and investigating. I called today (07/03/2017) spoke to Christina (who knew what was happening) and now find out the inquiry is closed.
A helpful (Richard from Edgars Trade Route) is now trying to fix this but with still no luck as Edgars refuses to take responsibility for this. It is day light ******* to constantly debit an account and not deliver.
The account is on my grandmother name and been the age of 79 does not permit her to commute to the store to fix.
The premiums need to be credited as there was no phone insured and if this is not resolved and paid back i will be escalating this further.
