EDGARS AND FINRITE IS PATHETIC!!! 1. I bought a laptop at CNA on my edgars account. 2. The sales person in CNA asked me if I want insurance on my laptop. 3. I requested that the insurance be put on and the sales person confirmed I am insured immediately. 4. I was informed about the excess being R300 on my first claim and not that there is a 90 day exclusion on claims, I was just informed I am covered. 5. My laptop was ****** and now suddenly have a excess of R2099??? 6. I NEVER RECEIVED A POLICY SCHEDULE TO INFORM ME OF THIS ON MY INSURANCE?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time I phoned EDCON, FINRITE,CNA but not one of the companies can give me the relevant information I need, and not one company’s information corresponds. I am now fed up with wasting my time and airtime calling and being transferred from one idiot to another and no one can help me. Why is there uneducated and *********** people in your shops and call centres that give your clients the incorrect information and then when they have a claim they suddenly realised the insurance they took out was useless in the first place ?? The excess is almost higher than the amount being claimed for. This is non-disclosure on the insurance policy and the excesses that needs to be paid if you claim within the first 90 days of the insurance being taken out. I will be taking this further to the insurance Ombudsman if I don’t get a response by tomorrow. EDCON is pathetic and as with the complaints on google review and hello peter regarding finrite insurance I am shocked that EDGARS would drag their name through the mud by using such an *********** company.
