disappointed and disheartened 1st time customers
From what i know by law a price advertised is the price that should be paid. at the mens department at edgars at menlyn mall.<br> There was a 75% sale and we came across a polo pants for R174.95 we believed the price as the pants had marks on.<br> We went to the till and when it was time to pay our cashier named refilwe stopped and had to enquire on that she went to call her supervisor Denise who informed us that customers change the tags to get a better price. If she was implying that's what we did we are insulted. They refused to give us the price that was advertised. The fact that the price was marked wrong was not our fault having found the pants at the sale side we were supposed to pay the price advertised. The customer is always right and yet this time around we were told that we wouldn't be given the price we seen. There was no other tag on the pants. We shouldn't pay the price for someone else's mishaps. . . . . PRICE on label should be price paid. or when we shop at edgars should we study the label(price tag) before considering buying. having just opened an account at edgars really contemplating it now.
