Edgars – Defective Shoes & Poor Customer Service

I purchased a pair of shoes from Edgars on 6 May, and the sole has already come loose despite the shoes not being worn daily. Given the limited use, ordinary wear and tear should not be used to dismiss this as a consumer complaint.

Under Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, defective goods are covered by a six-month imp**** warranty, with the consumer entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

I raised the issue with Regan, the Store Manager at Edgars Canal Walk, but was simply turned away without the matter being resolved.

I am requesting a full refund or replacement and would appreciate Edgars addressing this matter urgently.
