****************?
I bought a few items of clothing for my aunt in Pretoria for mother's day this year (may 2020). On the invoice, 2 items (@R244,.97 each) were crossed off saying i would be credited for it as they were out of stock. I was not credited for the items. I made numerous calls to the call centre and each time the agent said that my complaint was not escalated so nobody in their management had even dealt with it. Eventually one of the agents told me to email ***, which I did. A lady did get in touch with me and said the credit would be adjusted and reflected on my next statement. Now I'm not maths genius, but if two items cost R244,97 each, then I should be credited R489,94. But no, I'm credited R384,94. So I've written back to *** with all relevant paperwork reflecting the amounts etc and nobody wants to even acknowledge my complaint. The automated response said someone will contact me within 48 hours and its been 6 days. That's 144 hours and remember, I'm no maths genius. Nobody from edcon customer experience has contacted me I am not paying for merchandise I did not receive.
