CPA - Don't con clients into buying

I was very upset the other day when I went to a Red Square & spoke to a consultant to ask if the brand my mother was interested in was: 1) Pet friendly & against animal testing & 2) Paraben free with safe ingredients. The consultant immediately asked me if I am a vegetarian. At the time I thought nothing of it because, obviously I am vegetarian, but on closer review I take offense to this. It is irrelevant whether a person is or is not vegetarian. Either way harming animals is unacceptable & inexcusable. She claimed that the brand, Estee Lauder & all brands stocked in the shop are both animal testing free and paraben free. I went home to research. Perhaps this consultant genuinely believes the stories they tell clients but a simple search online disproves all of it. It is therefore ********* to lie to customers, especially when their concerns are based on ethical & on health issues. It is the same as telling a Muslim or Jewish person that their is no pork in a sausage, just to get the sale. All I am hoping for here is that the company relays these concerns to their employees because it is a serious matter.
