Continuously being called by people claiming to be from Edgars

Good day. I am continuously being phoned by people who claim to be from Edgars,yet are unable to verify they are indeed Edgars employees. They start by asking me to confirm my date of birth and ID number . I say I am unwilling to do this because I have no guarantee they are indeed calling from Edgars and I am not willing to give out sensitive information to strangers. They say they can not continue with the call and then hang up. This is happening over and over again. Either reach out to me via employees who can verify they are from Edgars or stop calling me . If the phone calls do no stop I will assume its some kind of **** and report the matter ,
