CONNING THE PUBLIC!
2. Mths ago bought shoes. Fell apart less than 1 week. Returned. Refused to refund - gave gift card. Contrary to NCA. Staff openly stated Edgars follow Edgars policy not NCA! On 11 November family purchased sandals for me amongst other goods. Cashier rang up goods. Came to pack goods family noticed size on sandals not same as size on hanger they on. Did not have size required. Took another pr R20 more. Cashier credited original sandals on slip. Received sandals @ home. Too big. Went back next day to change smaller size. Cashier says NO you already been credited. Explain NO Edgars error. Wrong sizes on hanger. Those were other sandals. Says NO emphatically. Had change of mind. Says get your size. They did not have my size. Refused refund. Against NCA. Cashier only gave receipt for original till ring. Not the R20 extra paid in. Keep getting no response website/call centre. Someone ALWAYS going to phone back BUT NEVER DO! Get response 6.38pm 18th NOV to say backlog of customers complaints. HUH?? How bad are Edgars if this is factual! Going to give Edgars 3 days to respond after this else Small Claims/NC Regulator. Let them be inconvenienced the way they do the public! DIsgusted!!!
