conflicting details on monthly statements, no reasonable responses from Edgars! No updated insurance details received

Please refer to the email below sent 18 December 2024 and respond.

I received a response from NFOSA and in the process of raising a dispute.

Please send me the insurance details. Did I agree to the new cell insurance amount of R145? Did you ask me if I wish to carry on with this insurance? What does this cover? I have no policy details whatsoever apart from the attached received in 2014?! Will my current device even be covered in the event of a claim? I am not willing to pay insurance that will not cover me.

No purchases are made on this account so what does the amount of 1119.06 on straight relate to? The budget amount should relate to the "cash I accessed via my account"

I pay cellphone insurance and I pay off 6800 over 24 months that I borrowed on my account in August 2023 so August 2025 this amount should be settled and then only the so called insurance should remain.

I am charged interest as well as "fees" what does the fees relate to? My account is never in arrears yet I am harassed for overdue payment?

Do not phone me. Respond in writing. I am tired of speaking to people who don't know what they are talking about.

Sent: Wednesday, December 18, 2024 11:43:14 AM Good day,

Please explain to me what R10 is due/overdue on my account? As per my statement there are NO overdue amounts or arrears payments?!

I have two items I pay on my account. A policy to cellphone insurance and down payment to money I accessed via my account for an emergency situation that presented itself last year. Every month the installment is higher than the previous month. We started with a R411 installment and now we have a R478.07 installment?

I can see that my cellphone insurance increased with approximately R50. Did you send me an email to notify me of this increase and what changes on my cover if anything and what is covered by this additional R50? Or if I in fact wish to continue with said insurance policy? I do not have any details for this updated amount other than that the amount increased as per my monthly statement.

Despite making payment before the due date as well as paying more than is required albeit a few Rands or exactly the amount that is stipulated as due on the statement, I am continuously harassed by yourselves for "non payment", "late payment", "overdue payments", "payments not received". I even received 2 phone calls from your "accounts" yesterday (after hours I might add that I unfortunately missed).

I am charged 3 amounts to interest monthly? What does this relate to? I never pay you late? There is also an amount of R28 for "monthly fees" what is this for?

The due date was always stipulated as the 1st of the month now the statement says "at month end"? What is "month end"? As this could indicate a few scenarios.

Please confirm

PS. I do not appreciate the tone of the attached email. I am your client, not your chommie.

Dear Info@NFOSA

Please advise what steps to follow with regards to this type of behavior from Edgars / RCS. I do not have any missed or late payments, yet this harassment will not stop despite complaining about it and Edgars confirming that all is in order and no arrears is recorded on their side as per the email confirmation below.

However your response does not answer my question

Why do I receive these notifications implying that I have not paid my account on time?

I pay my account by EFT and will continue to do so
