Complaint

so my husbands Edgars account was handed over due to non payment. MBD Inc have continuously calling and sending messages that Edgars have handed him over. as he is unemployed i then contacted MBD to make arrangements to pay the account. when i called i was told that if i settled in one amount that i would only have to pay that one amount. i agreed and on the 17th October 2017 a debit order was deducted from my bank account from MBD inc. today - more than 6 months later, he is getting sms's from SSDA - another attorney. when i called them today to query they then tell me that Edgars has handed his account over to them? i then tried calling MBD to find out exactly what is going on and also to get a paid up letter from them - because this is what SSDA is requesting. how is this possible? do MBD not notify edgars if a client has paid their account in full? how can Edgars hand their customers over to more than one attorney? and why in heavens name can i not get through to MBD? the phone rings and you are advised that you are caller number 4, then 3 then 2 then 1 then all of a sudden you get told they have high call volumes and you should leave a message!! if Edgars handed the account over a second time, where is the money i paid in October? what was that payment for?
