Close Edgars account immediately !

My name is Zimkita Sibeko ..i have serious complaint about Edgars. My mother had an account with Edgars for more than 20yr. Last year she lost her card ...and now she is struggling to get a new card because in Queenstown there is no longer an existing Edgars store.

I tried to help her last year in East London trying inquire about how to close the account but I didn't win because they wanted the account holder present. This morning i went to Hemingways Mall Edgars store to get help again, because they handed over her account to lawyers after she couldn't pay it for 3 months. I spoke to someone there, who promised to call her so that they can ask her security check questions, before they close the account but no one called.

She has since settled what was outstanding to the value R700 rands, although she not using her account, but she has been billed for club membership fees and insurance.

I wish someone can call my mother and ask her all the security check questions and close the account.
