Claim declined

My late father Mr Ebrahim Raymond Barkes opened a ( pers accidential insurance, personal funeral insurance, travel pa insurance, Family provider plan, Hospital cash back ins MBR and a Edgards Legal plan) vi edgars Commencement date : 05/02/2006 at 12:00:00 am. I paid the account personally and did for one single month skipped any payments on his account. incl his items purchased. i submitted the claim and was told that the policy is only 3 months old of which i knew could not be as i completed the application forms and have the schedule with me right now. Hollard says that the claim cannot be paid out as they only follow instructions from Edcon. I was told that his edgars account was dormant , which is another shock because we bought and paid this account on a regular basis , how does an acyoce account becomes dormant? I need assistants as i had to loan funds for my dads funeral and why there is so much complication with this application. I need clearity please because now Edgars is referering me to Hollard and hollard refere me to Edgars. please assist. warm regards
