Changing back from 12 month account to 6 month
I have been an Edgars client for many years and always paid my account on time. About four years ago I had to change my 6 month account to a 12 month account. On the 8 May 2015 I settled my account of R12990.88 and requested that my account be changed back to 6 month. The immediate answer was no, it cannot be done. Due to this response I had to close my account with Edgars. Very sad, that in this day and age they would rather say no than find a way of keeping a client. I have logged a complaint on the 11 May 2015 with no response from Edgars (Reference ***/S.G.N). Deeply disappointed<br>

20 May 2015, 15:16Hello meganapollis,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Please be advised it is now against the company's policy to change the plan from 6 months to 12 after the affordability check was done. You are our valuable customer and it is with great displeasure to not fulfil your request. But this is something we cannot override. Please accept our sincere apology for the overall experience.
We do still offer six months interest free to new account holder. However, they also need to qualify. You may reapply for a new account.
Please find your reference number: ***/GO
If your require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us on ***
Kind regards.
