cellpphone not working
I bought a cellphone samsung pocket at Edgars Newtowon junction in joburg on the 20th of March 2015 as a present to my son. 3 days later the phone was not charging and it switches itself off. unfortunately I was off from work till the 28th, when i took it back they said it is my problem and I will have to pay for it, they will send it to mtn for assessment and mtn will call me back and tell me how much i should pay. My issue is this is factory problem, the phone will be full when charged but upon receiving 2 to 3 calls then the battery is low and needs to be charged, and when your busy with a call or whatsapp it switches itself off is this my problem or factory...

Kindly be advised that our terms and conditions do state that, should a fault be detected on the phone purchased, it needs to be returned within the 7 day period, in its box with the proof of purchase. It will then be returned to the supplier to assess, based on the findings, the store is then advised by the supplier on how to assist. However should the return be done after the 7 day return period, please be advised that you then have to visit the store to submit the phone to be sent for assessment and repairs at no cost to you, provided that the fault is not due to negligence and you have provided your proof of purchase.
