Can't close Edgars account

My wife and I have been trying numerous times to close our Edgars accounts since before we immigrated a month ago. We've been told the only way is to call RCS at *** but every time we phone they put us through to the Edgars department and the line goes dead. In the meantime we are both paying the R50 club fee every month.
